Registration

Registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis and placement in a class is guaranteed only upon receipt of your first payment and a signed and completed registration form. You will be notified only in the event of a class/time change or class cancellation.

To safeguard the physical development of each dancer, it is important that they attend class with students of similar abilities and experience. All students are on a trial basis in each class for the first month. That's Dancin' reserves the right to make a final determination of each dancer's level.

PLEASE NOTE: The schedule and staff is subject to change. Classes with insufficient registration will be cancelled. There is a forty-five dollar ($45) non-refundable registration fee due upon enrollment. The school reserves the right to drop/refuse student registration for:

Non-payment of tuition, late fees, or other charges due to That’s Dancin’ Inc. Disruptive behavior. Excessive lateness and/or absences. Improper dance attire. Failure by student/parents to abide by any of the rules and/or policies stated on this page or verbally affirmed by an employee of That’s Dancin’ Inc.

Policies & Rules

ALL dancers, new and old, need to fill out new registration forms yearly. A $45 non-refundable registration fee is due at registration, along with your first installment of tuition. Starting November 1st, the non-refundable registration fee will be $65, and tuition will NOT be pro-rated.

Class placement is at the discretion of That’s Dancin’. Please keep in mind that your dancer’s best interests are taken seriously. We are committed to making sure your dancer is placed in a class at the appropriate level to ensure that she/he can feel challenged but not overwhelmed.

Students are placed based upon skill levels, coordination, musicality, concentration, and maturity in accepting and understanding corrections. It is important to understand that dance levels are not the same as grade levels in school, and that dance students sometimes take several years to move to a new level. Dancer progression and ability varies. Classes with six (6) or less students are subject to cancellation.

That’s Dancin’ Inc. reserves the right to alter and/or cancel class schedules, for any reason, whether temporarily or permanently without fault.

Tuition & Payments

Tuition is based on a 10-month dance year, September to June and is broken into five (5) installments, regardless of the number of weeks per month. Classes are held weekly, and each class runs approximately thirty-four (34) classes.

The first installment of tuition is due at registration. The payment schedule for the remaining installments is listed below. If tuition is not paid within ten (10) days of the installment due date, your account will incur a $15 late fee and we will automatically charge the card on file. If we need to move classes to Zoom, tuition will remain the same. There is a 5% discount on yearly tuition if paid in full by September 30th.

It is your responsibility to inform us if your dancer will no longer continue classes. If for some reason you choose to discontinue enrollment, your previous installment is NOT refundable. However, your next installment will not be charged as long as: (1) you have no other balances at the studio; and (2) we receive written notice, by letter or email, at least thirty (30) days before your next installment. Your tuition will be halted once we received your withdrawal request. After January 1st, NO refunds will be issued.

We currently only accept cash or check. Checks must be a minimum of $25 and cannot be used for a new student’s initial payment. All bounced checks will require an additional bank fee charge of $35 and no personal checks will be accepted thereafter. Please plan to come to the studio and pay during office hours or send the payment in a labeled envelope with your dancer. Payments will NOT be accepted if it is not sent in an envelope. If you are unavailable during the assigned office hours, please call or email the studio to set up an appointment to come in.

Costumes, tickets, etc. are to be paid separately.

Absences & Make-up Classes

If your dancer will be absent from class, please call or email in advance to notify us. Missed classes can be made up within the missed month by appointment ONLY. You can make up missed classes by participating in another class in the same age category that has availability. Please call or email the studio to schedule a make-up class.

After April 1st, we DO NOT offer make up classes as classes start focusing on their recital routines. You are responsible for your installments, whether the student misses a class or not. There are NO deductions or refunds for missed classes.

In the case of inclement weather, please check your email and visit our social media pages (Instagram/Facebook) to find out if class is cancelled. Refunds will NOT be issued for closures due to inclement weather.

Recital & Costumes

All families are required to pay a non-refundable recital fee, in order for the dancer to participate in the recital and purchase recital tickets. Additionally, all accounts must be up to date prior to participation in the recital. We cannot guarantee families with more than one dancer or dancers taking multiple classes will be in the same recital.

All classes have a costume unless noted. Recital costume deposits will be due in November and are NOT refundable. If your dancer will NOT be participating in the recital you MUST notify the studio before recital costume deposits are due.

Costumes will NOT be ordered unless deposit and balance are paid in full. Students are measured for costumes in classes. If a costume does not fit, we are able to exchange within one week of receiving it if it is returned to the studio in its original packaging. After one week, there may be additional shipping/handling fees and/or limited availability.

Studio Etiquette

That’s Dancin’ Inc. is NOT responsible for lost or stolen property. Cellphones, gum chewing, and jewelry are NOT permitted in the dance room. All dancers MUST be dressed in proper attire for class, including hair tied back and wearing the correct tights and shoes. NO street clothes or street sneakers are permitted in class. If you bring snacks, you MUST take all leftovers home and clean the area around you.

Students may arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class time and prepare for class. Please note that students MUST be quiet and respectful in the studio while classes are in progress. We ask that dancers DO NOT enter the dance room before the time of their class. Dancers MUST be picked up on time!

Please remind your dancer to wait inside the studio when being picked up. Parents/guardians MUST come to the front of the studio to pick up their dancer. We will NOT allow anyone to leave the studio without a parent/guardian present. NO dancer without a class in progress is to be left at the studio.
